Introduce Yourself : Actor with great classical training & Eastern-European accent by Igor Korosec

Hello to all my fellow creative souls and Season's Greetings to you all from actor Igor Korosec. When I was about 10 years old, people saw me as a typical Slovenian boy - very shy and extremely polite boy with all the guilt and under-estimating characteristics of Catholicism. One Spring afternoon the artistic side of myself became stronger than all the Catholic guilt. So that I could take a bus to the nearby city, I have stole some change from my older sister's enormous collection of coins equal to US pennies. In the city called Kranj, I got off the buss and marched directly to the semi-professional theater located at the very end of Kranj. I opened back door and started walking to second floor. I have been trembling from fear. Until nowadays I cannot believe that I have been so determined to overcome my shy nature and that I will find at least one person in this theater that I will tell that I want to be an actor. When I started thinking that nobody is inside the theater, an artistic director dressed all in black appeared a flight of stairs higher from me, asking me who am I and what am I doing there. I have shocked myself and that artistic director, when I heard myself saying loud and clear for the first time: "My name is Igor and I want to be an actor." The man took my name and phone number. A few months passed by, when a local director called me to meet me at my home, so my parents gave a permission to me that I can start rehearsing for my first big role in 300+ seats theater. From there on, there was no return. I was infected with the actors disease. :)
