Hi! My name is J.C. (Joe) Aiello. I’ve been a member of the WGA (East) since 1989. As a working, career freelance writer I’ve had to sandwich screenwriting in to a too-busy work schedule. However, over the years I’ve managed to develop a decent oeuvre of works for screen, stage, and TV (some 30 in all). I have also had three novels and two non-fiction books published. Due to my schedule and inability to keep my clients from running my schedule, I’ve had only two agents in my lifetime, both women, both of whom have since passed on, and neither of whom would concern themselves with promoting my work unless I had managed to fly out to their offices and pester the hell out of them. I don’t presume to consider myself a Bill Goldman or Tom Stoppard, but I know my way around the essentials of good drama, and I can more than hold my own.
