Producing : Machete, the movie by Richard L. Repasky

I watched this movie last night (Jan2) and I still cannot figure out the plot. I guess everything was "tongue in cheek", since all the old "good guys" were now "bad guys" and vice versa. There was a lot of hope for us ugly Americans as all the hot women went after the most un-handsome man in the cast. How do you get someone to buy into this movie? I guess you must be named Rodriguez to get the green light?
