Marcello I did BUT many 100000 likes but little money and honestly i make more money myself and investing it in the film which yes is ambitious but is looking fantastic with the new visual effects!
So how's it going, Marcelo? Friday and Saturday were crazy busy for me. Shot dozens of interviews and screening arrivals. Several films have soled - how's your film doing?
Hello Marcelo I am not sure at this time I doubt it. I am working on booking as much work as I can just getting back into it, so I am dedicating my time to this and making my youtube videos or slideshow of pictures etc.
So tell us about your experience. How was it promoting a film still in post? Did you get the interest you hoped? Is Sundance a good place for film promotion?
Sundance works better if you have prearranged meetings (that you will if your feature film got accepted) we went as outsiders, like Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid . Everybody that has a say in the festival is very busy with their own business and the other half of the people are either skiing or modeling in main street. I got into heated battles over posting flyers on the small kiosks along main street since every film posts in the same wall and inevitably we all cover each other. Networking is essential so we insisted and met some people on their way in or out of a screening or at the Sundance venues. We had the official passes so we had access to the Sundance house, the lounge, co op, Sundance channel and it help us to meet people at the right spot. Right now we are following up with the people we have met.
I shot some of those heated battles. It got really cutthroat out there with the “outsiders” vying for space and notice. The producer I was working for is seriously considering following 4 or 5 “outsiders” to next years festival. Might make an interesting doc. I did an interview with a team who came in as outsiders with a film in post and got a deal on the very last day. Glad you had success. Keep us informed on the followup meetings. Hope your film sells!

Hi Parker,those HBO poster guys are going to rot in Hell ! :) I have a few meetings line up in LA next week ...
No, not going to Sundance this time. Will be getting surgery instead.
