Budding You Tube Evangelist and Content Creator

Whatz Good! Peeps, My name is Jewell Williams. I live in Crossville, TN 1 hour west of Knoxville TN and about 2 hours east of Nashville TN. I was not born here yet I may die here. Anyway, I like to consider myself a budding You Tube producer, commentator, vlogger, or what ever I want to be. I do have a channel that I maintain. Currently I am challenging myself to post a vlog each day to build my endurance. I dream of creating a really funny, boisterous and vocal show on You Tube. I don't plan on getting rich just speaking my mind. I enjoy creating videos, because I am a visual person and messages always sink in better when I can see them as opposed to just reading them. Hmm maybe I should have done a video for this. Any-who, you can find my Youtube channel here https://www.youtube.com/user/QuePeaz?feature=mhee. Don't try to pronounce the name it will just confuse you. If anyone is looking to collaborate on a channel let me know. I am on YT everyday as well as Facebook. Not so much twitter too many spammers these days. Thanks for reading this. Peace.

Lately, I have been trying to make my bid to be gainfully self-employed by getting a foundation under me as a social media manager in Knoxville, so, of course, I'm networking my butt off lately trying to build my B2B client base. The point of my saying that is that I was at a Meetup last Thursday night, Feb. 21, where members of The Marketing Group, LLC, here in Knoxville presented some of their insights and SEO work with customers who do YouTube video. They are getting their customers ranked number one in Google searches, no joke. They showed us some examples of persistent effort paying off and making some guys doing what you're doing tons of money. An example: there's a guy who does an internet vid series called "Freezer Burns." His schtick? He takes an item from the grocery store frozen food section each day, talks about its content and what it's like as a meal item once he has prepared it to eat. So it's informative, upbeat, and rather humorous, with some insights that might help with planning the weekly family grocery budget. The larger point is that he produced and posted one of these segments every day for a year, during which he grew an audience which gave him the clout to charge major dollars of the frozen food producing companies for the CHANCE (not guarantee) that he will provide their products online reviews. I am amazed at how focused some people can be with one simple idea, and how much power they are able to amass from persistence, focus, and follow-through.

Hi Ron, Thanks for the information. Sorry it took a while to get back to you. I have been getting my project off the ground. My new video blog www.cumberlandinsider.com is up and moving. My focus in the local community events, and businesses here. I am not charging for this and hope to make it into something great. I gotta start somewhere. In regards to the paying people to promote me. I don't get into trying to be the next you tube star. I wanna be able to give the community something and we all grow from it. I will always be my best cheerleader. Besides my budget is tighter than a gnats behind. So no buying expensive services for me. Appreciate the info.

Well, I'll hit the link and check out what you're doing. I understand getting from zero to scratch is not always a clear path, to say the least. In my personal experience, though, doing good for its own sake has been rewarding up to a point, then it becomes wearying, as everything takes time and money from somewhere. When it's all coming from yourself, at some point, you may finally find yourself asking "why am I doing this?" That's me, anyway. Good luck, though.

Thanks for checking out my latest project Ron. I plan to someday make money from this, though like most people who do work in this field it takes sweat equity before cash equity kicks in. I look at it like Stage 32 developers put out a lot of cash and sweat equity before they saw any cash. (if they are seeing cash). Facebook, twitter, myspace all started out giving the product away before cash could come in. So on that same philosophy it's going to take me awhile before I build my project into a cash producing project. Until then, I am meeting great people, having fun playing with my tools and toys. Plus learning.
