Introduce Yourself : Producer/Director/Writer on a Mission! by Marko Sakren

Hello, after 45 years since I first fell in love with filmmaking, my career has followed many unexpected courses, adding up to the filmmaker I am today. Every film starts as a brand new journey, leading a cast and crew into a delightful battle between a blank screen and a screen that gets filled with the best storytelling possible. After getting five feature-length (indie) films into production (plus scores of shorts), my Feature #6 (a psych thriller) feels like my very first film. That's because I raise the bar for each film I make and this current project is being raised to the highest standards I have ever attempted, standards on par with some of the most recognized films in the industry. However, filmmaking ain't solitaire. It's an ensemble affair. Now building my ensemble for this high quality, feature motion picture project filmed on 2k resolution on the ARRI Alexa. That's the plan. Fundraising comes first and I need a tight team for that, too. Feature #6 is designed to kick-off a steady stream of feature films in support of a world class, multi-site, motion picture studio complex where hundreds (if not thousands) of jobs will be created, the community enriched, and thousands (if not millions) of lives positively effected.
