Anything Goes : Is there a place for film in art galleries? by Amanda Scotney

I currently have a short comedy My Husband playing in a continuous loop with three other films in a local art exhibition. The projector is set up with some headphones so that visitors can either watch the films with soft sound or listen. At openng night I observed some people interacting with the films like they interacted with the art. It's a very different experience to viewing a film in a cinema or fim night as part of an audience. I was just wondering what others thought?
