My debut short film

I would really appreciate it if you could leave some feedback on my debut short film about criminal mentality http://youtu.be/c5d8i_bxWi8

Hi Jonathan! Great work for a first film. I agree with Bruce about audio quality. I couldn't hear much of the dialogue but I could understand visually what was going. I have to say visually and pacing-wise, your film is quite excellent. It's okay to me if things aren't exactly clear. :-)

Good ideas, images. Keep making films. But hire actors.

Audio could use a lot of work. If you don't have the appropriate prop(gun) lose it cuz the black electrical tape on a popsicle stick detracts. Great camera work, cool shots.

First off, thank you all very much for all the feedback, it is much appreciated. I definitely agree about writing and sound quality, two aspects I'm not the best at. I was hoping for a muffled quality to the footage to give the impression that it was in a dream, so I used my the camera's recording system (Canon 60d). The sound isn't as good as I hoped, and I regret not using my zoom h4. What I enjoy doing is dictating the pace of films (ie through editing and camera shots with budget solutions), this project was to show some of those skills. The next film I'm working on has a much bigger cast, but I will still have to produce/direct/film the project. Thank you all for watching and commenting!
