Success Stories: MAR'4 Richard Botto's interview with Forris Day Jr led to one for me

A few weeks ago, I received the group email from Richard Botto that included a link to the interview he had done with Forris Day Jr of Scared Stiff Reviews and CMV Cafe. I listened with interest, and noted that Forris was open to being approached by other filmmakers. I sent an email out to him right away: I mentioned how much I enjoyed his interview with RB, told him about my feature film "Surviving Family," and included a link to our web site. He wrote back quickly, and at his request, I sent him a dvd and an electronic press kit. He liked the movie very much (which of course was great to hear!) and we scheduled the interview. This was a great opportunity for me as an independent filmmaker to get the word out on my movie. And it was a direct result of being a part of Stage 32!
