Wheres a gun I want to shoot myself....Your story for 2013 is so slow the technology that gave you the chance to make this in two days also has made your viewers very easy to get bored. Buuuuttt I like your film-making. Your shots are good your audio is very good. I would like to give you one of my tales and we'll win some short contests.

Kris Roselli

Thanks for your feedback. I actually made this in 2011. But still, yes, it is a slower paced story.

Kris Roselli

Mark, just sent you an email. Forgot to mention-- feel free to send me one of your tales. Would love to read it.

Kris Roselli

also, in the Directing discussion I posted 'Flesh Eaters', which is a more recent short film I did last summer if you want to check it out.

Mark Ratering

what's your email

Kev Minton

Kris, I like this one as well. The pace of course is different from the other short you posted but it should be. It shows your versatility to genres.

Kris Roselli

thanks Kev, glad you noticed the versatility!

I kinda figured out the end a bit earlier in the game of the film...altho it was a toss-up as to which one about 1/2 way through. The fact you did this in 2 days is the most amazing part. I loved the shots of just the ferris wheel....and really admired how crisp you sound quality was in all the wind and ocean scenes. I would love to work with you some day...

Theo Hearst

Beautifully shot!

Kris Roselli

^^^ spoilers above.... watch out guys. (and thanks Jacqueline! he sure does need an ashtray.)

Brian Neubauer

Phil, that's too much, its like telling the punchline of a joke. At least Kris is keeping with real storytelling and allowing the viewer to decide what is happening. Kris, I have to say that in editing, my personal thoughts are you should have muted everything a little more with the color timing. And I'm curious if everyone else did the same thing that I did and fast forward through to the end of the painting because if felt too slow, and really had already figured what the theme was by the time she had sat down on the bench? Over all pretty darn good for a 2 day shoot, Kris.

Carrie Brooks

Great job, Kris. Music was perfect for this. Had a real indie vibe to it. Good prod. value. Keep it up, man.
