So far so good 8 ) In north America, there are 4 major cities that produce a mega load of films. One is New York, then L.A., Toronto and Vancouver. If you want to find steady work, unfortunately you'll need to move to one of these cities. If you don't know what Vancouver looks like, it would win the beauty pageant of cities. P.S.
