Had to laugh when I read your post mentioning the first feature film to take 22 years to finish. Reminded me of my first jazz-vocal CD (Something Still Cool), which took 8 years to finish! Those long and winding roads, eh?

Paul Gorman

Congratulations on getting your CD done. You can appreciate then that it's like fine wine that improves with aging. As for my film, actually it was shot 25 years ago and then for a variety of reasons sat in the can for 22 years until it was finished 2 years ago. The completed movie is a set consisting of the feature and two documentaries, one of which explains the reason it took 22 years to finish it, the other deals with the cast and crew, and then there's the actual feature itself. Overall, the movie epitomizes independent filmmaking and is an inspiration to anyone with unfinished projects like you once had. (http://youtu.be/m0SmuLOYDzQ)

Absolutely, and I will watch it tho it's too long towatcj right now. BTW, if you know anyone who'd be interested in doing a doc of my story (much more than the making of 2 critically-acclaimed jazz-vocal CDs, released at ages 71 and 72), many find it inspiring and I have tons of footage so pass it on.
