On Writing : Hi All I'm Tony Wilkins -Screenwriter of The Mo Diaries,Zelma's Spirit,Lonesome Town and Letters from Lonesome Town by Tony Wilkins

I began my career in film after publishing two successful books Telemarketing Success for Small and Mid Sized Firms and The Single Person's Cookbook. While I was in NYC promoting my cookbook I came up with the idea to do a mock documentary on love,sex,religion,politics and Prop 8 called The Mo Diaries. We shot 20 hours of footage edited down to 43 min of film. The film was such a critical success that I began studying film at a local film co-op. I shot the second and third films as shorts. The third being so well received I decided to turn it into a feature length. Letters from Lonesome Town which will be my return to feature films will be ready for production by Fall 2013. When not making films I host a popular Internet radio show for small business owners called Small Business Forum www.blogtalkradio.com/tonywilkins which reaches over 40,000 listeners worldwide.
