Screenwriting : Finish one before beginning another? by Michael Olson

Is it better to concentrate on finishing one script before starting another or go back to edit another while editing a current script? Thoughts? I also want to hear about your creative process. I am totally about stream of consciousness and the first draft but I know rewrites are necessary.
