Hello, hello. I'm a burgeoning screenwriter with a rather massive scope. But before I go multiversal, it's important to establish oneself with a smaller, more local range, like the solar system. I've written two screenplays: one about the four dead Presidents of Mount Rushmore come back to turn America into patriotic zombies; the other, just wrapping up now: To reconnect his wife and baby daughter, a desperate stay-at-home dad leaves at midnight on a solo roadtrip, but is unable to leave town when his sleepwalking wife tags along. Beyond that, I've got nearly three dozen different stories just waiting to be transformed into a screenplay and into a movie. Some are dramas, some comedies, fantasy, sci-fi, thrillers, you name it. I have five different worlds where stories take place, plus whatever miscellaneous nonsense I concoct. Have a short film based on Stephen King's short story, Mute in pre-production right now in Vancouver, and hope to move that through the festival circuit this year. Always looking for writing collaborators. My next script will be a buddy detective/noir/comedy, something I had thrown together years ago, but never got past the first act. Now seems as good a time as any to wipe off the dust and re-engage. As Picard says, Make it so.
Great post, Andrew...Really covers all the bases. Welcome to 32!
