Hey all, Has anyone ever had any success working with a career/writing coach? If so, willing to share details? I'd like to get a little more focused on the "career" side of my writing career. Thanks!
recognizing real working practical scenes compared to theories is a vital part of recognizing how writing works when transmitted into performances, emotions and scenes and stories that the audience can chew up and digest and beg for more. Hope that makes it clear in knowing what you are doing as a writer. Does the audience go to the movie a second and third time? That's a good gauge perhaps..
You should contact Lee Jessup. She's very good at helping you figure out how to brand yourself as a writer; certainly helped me figure out where my strengths/weaknesses were.
Yes, you have to know what you are doing!
Sorry John... I'm not sure I'm following you...?
