Financing / Crowdfunding : I need help buying a $500 camera. by James Wetuski

Pretty simple - I've been a semi-pro actor and occasionally working part-time for years... I'm broke, and I can't get any traction working on my projects and ideas. Local crewpeople want to be paid (fair enough) and I don't want to reveal all my secret ideas on crowdfunding sites that I'm likely to fail to fund with.
