My work in still photography for the last 9 years has been focused on conveying deep emotion, individual personalities, and unscripted moments. I've done everything from creative portraits for undefinable individuals, to conventional business head shots, to album covers, to emotionally powerful wedding imagery, and even behind the scenes and on-stage moments for celebrity events. I'm currently redoing my portfolio for my commercial work, and would love to get together with people who love looking at still imagery to get feedback on which images are most compelling to share with my new NYC market. I'll be moving from Lowell, MA (home of the Invention of Lying, and The Fighter) to begin living in the Washington Square area as of this August and am so excited about the breadth and variety of films I'll get to be inspired by between the IFC, Angelika, and Village Cinema. I'm up for movie nights out, critique nights for new and upcoming work, or just connecting over a drink to share the challenges and triumphs of living as a creative.

Hello Anne, and welcome. Take a look at the Stage 32 Meetup section in the Lounge. There are some 32'ers putting together a NYC Meetup as we speak. Best of luck!

Thanks so much for the tips! I'll see if there's a meetup I can join soon. ;-)

I would love discuss still imagery and films, and if I lived in the NYC area, we could :) Good luck!
