When I mention prison movie, I hear people here say "Shawshank." I'm just wondering, which other prison movies do you like? I haven't seen "The Experiment" yet. Cool Hand Luke was good. There were a few Alcatraz movies that were pretty good (I wasn't the biggest fan of The Rock, I guess that's more of an escape movie anyway, kind of in the action genre.)
Never saw Papillon. Thanks for the suggestion.

David I was just going to post The Green Mile! Awesome :D
Cool Hand Luke and Primal Fear
yep, RB. walked out on Shawshank. My date and I agreed. Tried to watch it a couple years later after all the "trendies" in "El Lay-Hollyweird" (everybody knows it's really Malibu-SantaMonica-Venice-the Hills) kept talking about it, Walked out again. sorry, man, it's badly lit. it has no shadows. it's contrived and faky.
ANY of these other ones will do

I would say the Green Mile. RIP Michael Clark Duncan. Yes Orange is the new Black is really good.
I agree, Malcolm. Here's a tribute I wrote about MCD last year when he passed. He was a true gent. https://www.stage32.com/blog/remembering-michael-clarke-duncan
