How hard it is these days to find the right people who can help a writer out. There are so many people out there doing so many different types of work in this industry but finding someone to help which will not cost you a arm and leg is very hard. How have you found it when marketing your work?
I host free press releases for authors and publishers on my web site New Book Journal... http://www.NewBookJournal.com Stop by and drop me a press release any time... glad to help.
Twitter is a great place to connect with other writers and industry people. Recently you have to drudge through some more self promotion, but the gems of reference are there.
Agreed, twitter has many authors, publishers, agents and editors. If you try to focus your followers in your genre, they can be a great source of re-tweets and ideas.
