Hello all! My name is Monte, I live in Chicago and I am currently producing a live show that turns a storytellers story into a short film. The project is a 3 show process spread out over 3 months. It runs like this: 1st. show, a storyteller tells a story that is non-fiction and under 8 minutes. that teller is teamed up with a scriptwriter that is present at the show. 2nd. show is one month later and is a live staged reading of the scriptwriters scripts derived from the tellers story. scriptwriter is then paired with a filmmaker and the script is now handed off to the filmmaker 3rd. show is 4 to 6 weeks later and then we watch the filmmakers shorts, the end. Our budget is $0, we offer as much help as humanly possible to get the project done if needed. The show is done at The Public House Theater, 3914 N. Clark. Please, please message me if interested, I need filmmakers badly. We do have a show with our 1st set of shorts to be shown on Tuesday, August 27th. at the theater, I will comp any filmmaker or scriptwriter interested in checking out what the show is about to see if it's something you're interested in! Phyllis A. Collmann- I am an author of a pioneer series of 8 books. Many, many readers of the series contacted me later saying it would make a great movie. That is great but I have no idea how to go about doing it. If anyone is interested contact me at phyllisacollmann@hotmail.com

have you ever done any storytelling? i run/produce storytelling shows. i have a show tomorrow night, it's the show i am looking for filmmakers for, maybe you can check it out and see if it's something yer interested in. the show is nov. 19th., tomorrow, at the public house thater 3914 n. clark st. with a 7:30 p.m. showtime.
