Introduce Yourself : Medical Doctor turned Filmmaker by Saurabh Sikka

Hello Stage32! I'm Dr. Saurabh Sikka and I started writing screenplays for medical dramas, dark comedies and horror shorts while waiting for patients. I've been an Assistant Director on a Bollywood feature film, and directed my own short films, commercials, and documentaries. I have my own editing rig on a powerhorse Hacintosh that I built with my own hands. I'm really interested in pre-production management, Directing, conventional SFX, and playing around with the medium of cinema. I recently broke ground at the 48 Hour Film Project in New Delhi with a set of two interlinked films (yes! 2 short films in 48 hours!) that I shot with 2 unit directors. I'm good with getting people together, to create an atmosphere of camaraderie and ego-lessness that can bring the entire team into sync with the overall vision of the film project. I'd love to Line Produce too. I'm currently based in New Delhi, but plan to move to Berlin within the next 12 months or so.
