Hi Everyone, I hope you are all having a great start of the day! I opened my email today, saw this email from Stage 32 and figured I'd share in on the fun :) Again, Hi! I'm Shema Jones. I'm a working actress, with dreams of filmmaking to share my many visions & messages to the world. I LOVE film. I LOVE acting. It's kind of like music in a way to me, how it allows us to escape and see things from another perspective. It's truly a work of art. I currently have one running international commercial with 'ShoeDazzle' and another international commercial with 'Nissan' that is soon to release. I also got the opportunity to co-star in the film, 'An American In Hollywood', alongside JD Williams & Hassan Johnson of HBO's The Wire, which premieres at AMC 34th Street in NY TONIGHT, September 20. A couple years ago, I met a great writer, Christopher Lee, via Stage 32 btw & now we're co-writing a sci-fi psychological mini-series together - my first! Last Fall, I released my first self-published book, 'Shema Jones | Life Notes', sharing different affirmations and positive mantras to the intrigued reader. I mainly submit myself for projects, so one could say I'm my own theatrical agent in a sense (hehe). The freedom I feel being independent is simply amazing & invigorating. I thank God everyday for His many opportunities and blessings I choose to see and accept with His grace. So……that's me in a nutshell (hehe).
