Introduce Yourself : Storyteller playing in many sandboxes. by Margaret S. E. Smith

Hi everyone. I was literally born into, and raised in, the world of the Creative. I am a 40+ year veteran of the creative and performing arts, specializing in Creative Writing, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Drama, Music, and Digital Media. Fifteen of those years were spent training in, performing in, directing, and teaching Theater. I have been a professional drama, character, and voice coach since 1990. I'm also an award-winning, published poet and short story writer with a diploma in Children's Literature, an award-winning digital artist with an Associates degree in Graphic Design, and am currently in my senior year in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Writing for Entertainment at Full Sail University's Film School. I have recently been hired by Kevin Wayne Film Studios to complete two original screenplays -- one short film, one feature -- and this marks my first professional foray into the film industry. Because of my experience in, and love of, both the creative arts and teaching, I am currently starting a creativity coaching business, helping other creatives with their lives and their projects, through remote methods such as Skype. I truly love ALL forms and aspects of storytelling and communication, and love communicating with other storytellers, so feel free to get in touch -- for me, it always feels a bit like family.
