So where are all the fine Filmmakers of the horror genre on Stage 32? All ye lovers of the things that creep and go bump in the night, shall we shake this place up a little please? Shall we?
Huge horror fan. I would have killed (no pun intended) to have been in one of the Scream films. Loved the witty dialogue. Not a huge fan of supernatural horror which seems to be big at the moment. What about you Owen? Fav films?
Ah Emma! I totally share your sentiments about the scream films, especially the original. The subsequent scream films didn't thrill me as much to be honest. I think they tailed off a bit and didn't offer enough thrills and chills for me (and this seems to be common with horror films that turn out to be franchises). Me, I'm not so much a fan of the slasher genre especially if I'm seeking to be spooked, it doesn't do it for me beside the entertainment that it offers. Psychological horror on the other hand, really really bug me. I like for my mind to be raped and this is why I am very drawn to David Lynch's work. Are you a fan of David Lynch? Seen any of his films? Which of the scream films do you like the most?
Awesome stuff Benjamin, looking forward to watching your performance! And like Kathryn said, be verrrrrryyyy scarrryyyyy, have our spines tingle and our hairs spiked with suspense. Lol I'm just goofing around buddy. Just enjoy it.

Interesting! What do you mean when you say odd horror? What sub genre would you say it falls into?
Absolutely! I'll check them out now :)

Good question! I'm sure they are around somewhere. From an actor's standpoint, it's a genre I'm quite interested in exploring further myself.

Write, direct, and produce almost nothing but horror (with a bit of comedy thrown in).

I prefer things that creep and go bump in the night .... smiles. Nothing like a good scare to make you jump out of your seat....
