I want to thank everyone for some really positive feed back. It got my motivation going!! So now my question is do I do a resume even though I have not done anything with modeling or acting for a while. I've been home with my kids and not sure where to start. Should I randomly just send my resume and headshot to agents first? or keep checking on open casting calls??? Would love suggestions and input. Thank you in advance.

I'm thinking you can do both at the same time. Sending out your headshots to random agents is a real crap-shoot but worth a try. Booking a few gigs through open calls will help you meet fellow actors and models who can offer referrals. Taking a few classes will also open up your contacts base which can narrow down the agents you submit to. Until then send out as many resume/headshots as you can afford and keep checking those open calls at the same time.

Michelle, if I can offer one small piece of advice to help with your exposure here - add a profession (or professions) to your profile. This will allow for your page to be listed in all search results and other networking areas of the site. More eyes, more exposure, better networking. Good luck!

I'm not sure where you're located, I would suggest using LACasting or Actor's Access and checking out projects through there. Start submitting yourself for projects and get your feet wet again. I use both of those sites for casting projects. If you're in LA you can always join my production company's mailing list (free) we update everyone once a month on what we're casting for (LiveArtLove.com). Anyway once you get some good credits start contacting agents so you can get a good one. Hope that helps!
