I need some help with compressing a file. It needs to be an Apple ProRes file under 2Gb, which is my Holy Grail of sorts. In Compressor and in Premiere I can't change the data/bit rates to make it smaller. Any suggestions? I appreciate the help

You can change the rates in compressor. take a look at this: http://www.larryjordan.biz/determining-proper-settings-in-compressor/ Beyond that, a smaller frame size will obviously make the file smaller.
Righteous. thanks!
Use Media Encoder it came with your software
MPEG STREAMCLIP
