Introduce Yourself : Hello and ... by Jodi Lustig

First, let me give a virtual wave and thank you to RB for giving this aspiring-outgoing person such a great place to connect. And thanks to the super Stacy Masand for inviting me to the party. My name's Jodi, and I've been a recovering academic for so long that I really oughta be recovered. One day I'll remember that I no longer have papers due or students to wrangle, but for now, at least the anxiety dreams make for good comedic inspiration. I'm a screenwriter from Manhattan currently working on a romantic comedy called The Vegan and the Beast. He's the vegan. She's the beast, a politician forced to work with a greener-than-thou image consultant after a tabloid attack on her unladylike ways threatens her political future. Yes, that logline is one of a gazillion and will continue to evolve right up until the moment some kind producer shrieks, "Stop potchka-ing!" After which I will probably potchka in secret.
