Excellent workshop. I highly recommend it. Mark taught this stubborn old dog new tricks. Got sound advice and got to hang with filmmaking like minded people from all walks of life and all levels of experience. Good for new, old or just out of film school. That's my real name and I was not paid a dime for this endorsement.
Thanks, Mike! Good luck with "Power Perfected in Weakness"!

Power Perfected is in the back burner. I am working on 2 other projects, one principal photography started in California and will travel to Puerto Rico for 2nd unit exteriors. The other will shoot NY & NJ hopefully in January (weather permitting).
Hey Mike, that's great news. We shot "The House That Jack Built" on a relatively low budget last summer in NYC. The secret for us was shooting in the Bronx. Got great deals on locations there and people pretty much left us alone. The PR sounds pretty awesome, too! Jacqueline, I could only wish to take my class to the UK!
Thanks for the tip!! Several friends saw it a couple of weeks ago in NYC.
Oh, that's great. I hope they enjoyed it.

Being on the east coast, the commute would be hard.

I love it when people just go for it and find out it was the best thing they ever did.

we're finishing production of our 2nd full length No Budget movie and witht he right people the experience is phenomenal and the quality of the film isn't affected at all. I won't spam my trailer here, you can check my profile if you want to see a trailer.
You're a class act Guillaume!
That song on the Teaser is awesome!
which one you talking about? the rock song was given to us from a friend and co-worker from their album, the 2nd song for the second half was written for us by one of our actress. we try to always include local musician, help showcasing talent and cross promote products :)
I'm talking about the song the actors are doing in the car in the Teaser.
oh yeah! the 4 of them burst into songs all the time, we almost need a 2nd audio crew just to try to catch it all for the behind the scene lol
And if you live on the east coast?
I'm an eastcoaster too... and just like me, you learn the hard way lol
Hey Brendan, I taught the class in NYC about 3 weeks ago. But what can I say? The weather here today is amazing. Sunny, 80 degrees...
I quote you often, my friend. Hope all is well. Best of everything with the class. Whoever reads this post, Mark's class is informative, iinsightful, and inspirational. I'm about to start my third feature using many of the principals he teaches. If you have a chance, the class is priceless.
Sorry I missed it, must have been out of town that day. Do you have it on DVD so that I might view the past classes. We have sun but the temp is in the low 40's.
Hey, thanks Brian. Good luck on the third film! Can't wait to see it. Brendan, I don't have it recorded, but I hope to be back in NYC next year.
I'll keep an eye out for it.
Mark will certainly be back in NYC next year if I have anything to do with it. I'm from the east coast and took his class on the west coast. Working on my project,,,using Mark's gems.
Oh, Ozzie, one of my favorite students for sure!
