Your Stage : The Gears of Progress Grind Ever Slowly by Robert A. Yarbrough

Imagine a world trapped in time; a world where innovation is not only at a standstill, but is heavily regulated to the point of prohibition.... This is the opening line on my website to promote "Steampunks!" (gearsofprogress.com) a youthful adventure series taking place in a Gothic, Victorian world of brass and iron. It's meant to follow the same trend as the "Avatar" series on Nickelodeon or any of the DC series on Cartoon Network. It's at the very beginning stages; I've finished the first two episodes, plus a pilot episode, some character art (done by Stimson Snead), and currently shopping it around to Nickelodeon and Mondo Media. Lately, I have thought about starting a kickstarter or an indiegogo for it but two things are holding me back at the moment. 1) I want to showcase the "blueprints" of the show first, see if it gets a big enough following. 2) Exhaust any and all contacts I have wether it be for television or a web-series. But I thought it might be good to get some feedback considering this is my first website and I'm not very web savvy. I'm kind of stumbling in the dark but still see the light at the end of the tunnel; just treading carefully and watching my steps as I go.
