Filmmaking / Directing : A Great Time for indie film makers! by Michael Tyrone Boyd

Greetings, I am happy to be a part of this very interesting and highly creative community of artists of every stripe! As subject of my title indicates I feel ..It's a great time to be an indie film maker. Why? Because there has never, ever been such an explosion of outlets to be seen and (businesswise) to market and sell and /or license your product. A little backround on me..I have spent a number of years in front of the camera as a professional actor-singer as well as a local cable access producer. ..You can see some of my work on my Michael Tyrone Boyd-YouTube channel (shameless plug!). Buy seriously, I have lately turned my full attention to throwing my hat in the ring by bravely beginning the process of producing a long form -indie film. I have written a great script that contains all of the key elements of a good movie . It is narrative type of movie sort of in the vein of a Woody Allen joint. I am so excited that this is the way to go, and I'd love to hear from any of you who have any ideas concerning how I can best get this project successfully completed from Pre-Production-Production-Post Production. by the way it's a strictly ultra-low budget venture.
