Screenwriting : Script Consultant by Daniel Dore

Daniel Dore

Script Consultant

I don't usually give praise lightly, and this is no exception. I recently had dealings with a script consultant I met here on Stage 32, Phil Clarke from London, England. He has been nothing short of incredible, from service to the way he explained everything I needed to modify in my story to make it a contender for the festival scene. I suggest to every screenwriter out there to consult a person like Phil, if only to confirm that what you have is good. They might even find something that you missed that would put your script in front of others in the judges eyes. If any of you have other names to add to this list from people you've had good relations with, I propose you use this post to do so. They deserve a little recognition. Thank you for your time in reading this, and I hope the answers will help other screenwriters out there.

Many thanks, Daniel. You're very kind. Helping both aspiring and established screenwriters improve their craft and their specific projects has always been a passion of mine; one that I have been lucky enough to do for over a decade now. Not all have given such high praise. This is testament to your good nature and willingness to learn as a writer. Happy to help anyone else out there that needs it.

Hey Daniel, thanks for the post. Phil, your name sounds familiar, I think our paths have crossed before somewhere along the line.
