I created the HBO series Carnivale. I've written on a number of shows since, as well as limited series and features. Right now, I am focused on my project, BlackBxx, a non-linear narrative form developed for the internet.

Wow, a true celebrity in our midst, eh? I'm still trying to kick that -door down and get into television - I see features as a necessary evil to get my foot in the door - and it's got a little frustrating already. I keep being told that the things I'm submitting are good but 'it's not the right time for them.' If you don't mind me asking, Daniel, how did you get your break?
