An EVO 3d is around $200. However, the cameras are very close together, so it's better for closeups. For long shots, a camera with farther apart lenses is better, so if you're looking for that, you might want to build your own by combining two normal cameras into a slider rig
I'll have to take a look at the EVO... Interesting. Have you come across any affordable ways to build a slider rig? IIRC, those can be pretty expensive!
Unfortunately I have not. You'd need two cameras, and a way to keep them steady.
