If you had to shoot a film (of…

If you had to shoot a film (of any genre) in any city of the world, what would it be?

Hedley Allen

The adventures of J smith, action biography, starting in London.

Junior Fletcher

rom-com in manhatten NY

Rob Innes

Cops 'n' robbers in Los Angeles. It's been done, yes, but so much scope for adding to the body of work.

Brian Heidenfelder

Detroit

Mika Carten (they/them/theirs)

It would probably be a Comedy and maybe New York, since I've never been.

Jim Blythe

Norwich in the UK - it's just so funny here

Geetikanthaa Daas

I will love to shoot there in Switzerland,a Romantic song...;)

Dallas White

Action packed in Las Vegas!

Hedley Allen

I just had one of those really silly ideas............Cut short.......... When a group of young film makers from Norwich win an on-line contest to make a crime & action movie in the US it seems as though everything they ever dreamed of is about to happen. From the press photos in a London bank to the first class tickets to Detroit, New York and Las Vegas they couldn't be happier. Until they realise the contest organisers are a bunch of world class crooks from Rio with drug cartel connections ,who are framing them for actual robberies. Chased by the police, the gang and the press they panic and make a run for it, with a pallet of "not so prop" money and load of diamonds. Hijacking John Travolta and his private jet on its way to Oslo in Norway, Zurich Switzerland and then Cannes,"one way or another we're going to jail, so what the hell, lets make the damned movie any way".

Hedley Allen

Oh did I mention the rather sexy Interpol agent and the George Cloony and John Travolta in flight dating advice session on how to sweet talk the woman trying to arrest you.

Alfred Nesser

Boston area has the highest talent with the least drawbacks. Casting by [www.bostoncasting.com][1] excells above all others!!! [1]: http://www.bostoncasting.com

Alfred Nesser

The city, along with all its outlying districts, Metro West and North Shore. Incomparable!

Emmanuel David

italy what it really means 2be looked over by the rich

Cynthia Parker

I would shoot a film in San Luis Potosi

Miroki Tong

I can barely even think of one city, but I'd love to do St. Petersburg in Russia

Bridget Jeske

Arkhangelsk Russia would make a great city for a cold, wintry survival movie. Icebreakers are needed to keep the port open in winter. I could imagine being trapped there.

Veronica Jeske

How about Odessa, Ukraine. It would make a great city for a spy thriller because of their Soviet history.

Michael Shandrick

A sexy rom com, drama or action, thriller, Rio de Janeiro's natural beauty and exotic settings trumps most cities I've seen around the world.

Timothy English

a horror movie set in New Orleans.

Drea Davila

a documentary about Mayans, set in Mexico and Guatemala

Kent Courtney

A period piece in New Orleans - there's a lot more to that city than Anne Rice :)

Lascelles G. Stewart

I would have to say something comical & uplifting:)

Will Spears

I would want to film a sci/fi/fantasy archaeological love story adventure through time in Machu Picchu.

Alfred Nesser

What? Jurassik Park wasn't good enough??

Alfred Nesser

...but then, Machu Picchu, hm-m-m!

Stephen Melling

How many films have been done in New York? Come on guys, thats pretty boring! I'd love to shoot one in Bratislava.

Stephen Melling

Or Dubrovnik would be cool!

Alfred Nesser

Why? Because Albert Einstein stayed at the hotel Zöldfa?... (intriguing, n'est-ce pas?)

Alfred Nesser

Dubrovnik, very comfortable feeling,...

Julianne Kristine Jamandre Cosning

Manila. Shooting is More Fun in the Philippines. That's where the Bourne film is filming now...actually, they just moved to Palawan, still in the Philippines

Alfred Nesser

Concerning "smart witty humor", I really loved the way Cary Grant's humor permeated many of his movies!

Nicola Barnaba

It's on the script, but if I could choose I'd shoot in L.A.

Michael Shandrick

Richard, have you read "Imperial Bedrooms" by Bret Easton Ellis? He challenges the massive hypocrisy and twisted narrative of Hollywood's jaded values. He shows us a story that could never be filmed in LA. Only a European or Latin location could deal with a Lolita story in its proper context, I will look forward to hearing more about your project.

Michael Shandrick

In a youth centric city like LA they have child actors pretending to be younger than they actually are. :) Look forward to hearing about your work.

E.C. McMullen Jr.

I'd like to shoot a Science Fiction Horror feature film in Houston.

Sharon Yusop

Hey EC.. I'd like to shoot your Science Fiction Horror in Singapore in the middle of the central business district.. I think that will be a sight.. not to mention a huge challenge.. :)

Gareth Brierley

thriller in bombay

Teri Michelle "Elle" Cochran

Horror in Louisiana

Tek Doko

Int'l espionage in Ohrid, Macedonia

Sandro Mercury

Satirical End of the World romance, Chicago, IL

Francesca Sophia

india, because the colours are so beautiful. new york, because i find it perhaps the most interesting city i've been to.

Tony Knucklez

South Pacific, untouched land with many untold stories of the mythical past

E.C. McMullen Jr.

A Horror Thriller action feature with a Science Fiction setting. Think Lovecraft-style Law & Order meet Wanted and it all goes totally Cloverfield!

Georgia Hilton

St. Petersburg, Russia.

Tabitha Baumander

now thats an interesting jump from Norwich to Medicine Hat (in the summer I presume)

Emmanuel David

Egypt horror/comedy

Cynthia Parker

India

Tabitha Baumander

I have several things set right here in Toronto. Which would be a nice change because Toronto is always being used as some American city. In these stories it would be itself. I write fantasy sci fi.

Tabitha Baumander

hehehe blowing American minds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFgPX0hnNfA

Alfred Nesser

Atta boy, Rick!!
