I am either a great writer or a terrible one. I wrote a few scenes that I cried through. They were tough, but I did and now i need to come back to my world. Does anyone else do that, cry during sad scenes?

You're not alone Wendy. I also cry whenever I think, or write sad stories hehe!
That's a great start! Now just get your audience to cry & you've got it made!
Wendy, I've cried so much into my keyboard that I felt it could short circuit:) Writing should be emotional, even with a bad storyline...
Yea thats how you know its good . if your crying it means it really hit you so chances our everyone else will feel the same way.
When a scene I'm writing makes me cry, I always pay attention to the reasons it's hitting me so hard... then I push the scene farther.
I feel like I've succeeded when my READERS cry.
When I write my science stuff I can get all excited all over again (as way back then in the lab experimenting away), when I write on my novel I feel like I'm living in that world and feel what the heroine is feeling.
Good comment Jeanne V. Tears do speak volumes; when they talk we need to listen:)
