"Emplyment of Last Resort ..." [www.door-to-door-tv.com][1] Jeff “Magic” Dunbar Top salesman, very charismatic but on edge. Tall, early to mid thirties, slightly balding male. Few jobs that crazy people can do well in this world but being a sales manager for a door to door company is one of them. Not only would he sell his mother for a good deal; he would ship her for free. He’s ruthless in driving his sales staff to more and more sales. If there was a hurricane he would expect his sales team to not back off. If his car was stolen he would be immediately thinking about how to sell product to the police. Wallace, Regional Manager, overweight, mid-forties, sweaty car salesman type whos been in the business for years. Wild spender, out of control with money but his wife is even worse. Calm on the outside but anxious at times because he is so over his head. Between his overpriced house, overpriced car and having not paid taxes in several years he is worried about the IRS shutting the business down if he doesn’t create the perfect sales team. Alice, early fifties, customer service/ secretary, pessimist, hates her job, always critical of everyone and everything. Addicted to gambling, always has a scratch off lottery ticket. Julie,24, classic beauty, but has a three year old at home. Quit her retail job for the possiblitty of making a higher income as a salesperson. She gets what she wants usually with a seductive approach and good looks. Her approach sometimes gets her into trouble. She’s never passed a class, gotten a job or had anything worthwhile happen to her without using men. Fandral, late-twenties, black, stocky charismatic ex-gang member, mediocre stand-up comedian and all around hustler. Shapeshifter type ability to switch from street thug to politically correct people pleaser in any situation. Excellent salesman. Brian, midtwenties, exptremely personable and friendly but also very overweight. Low self esteem and very self conscious. Never wants to be the only fat guy in the room. Danny, mid-twenties, short, napoleon-complex type. He’s cocky loathsome but charismatic college graduate. Naturally becomes a background character in most situations but fights to be the leader or to have control.
