Producing : Fundraising: Indiegogo or Kickstarter? by Elise Soeder

Hello all! I am working on my first film as a producer (Check it out! http://www.stage32.com/profile/42018/project/balance) and we are gearing up to gather some money together. I know Kickstarter and Indiegogo are both go-tos for independent arts projects, but which one do you guys prefer? Or is it worth having an account with both? What are the downfalls to each of them? Any success stories? Also, as a first-time producer, I'm not sure where to put all that good green stuff when it starts coming in. I want to keep it entirely separate from my own money. Do I create a bank account just for this project? Thanks, everyone!
