Sorry for the late update – It’s been busy around here. August 26, 2013 - Jim took a bad fall, 3 stories, landing on concrete. I contacted everyone we knew as soon as I heard, while I waited for my ride to the Maryland Hospital they took him to. Everyone was praying for days. Finally on the 4th day Jim recognized me. I was more than relieved. The doctors were amazed not only by his progress but also by his condition on arrival. They all said God caught him halfway down. They had never seen anyone fall that distance and live, let alone not have any broken legs or arms. After 1 week Jim was released to come home to heal. He had a fractured skull and 22 fractures in his face. Oh my gosh, I could not have gotten through all of this without help from our Church family. Thank you so much Manassas Baptist Church members! Jim has finally pretty much healed. He still has a bad day now and then. The doctors say that will continue for up to a year. He's back to work, thank God, as we have no income if he doesn't work. My disability won't even pay the rent. Needless to say we continue to struggle but we pray every day that our customers will pay on time or early :) We are definitely blessed! Praise God!
