Hi All, in January 2014 a proposal for a multi-platform drama based on my book, Hypomanic, will arrive at Channel 4 Televison in London. If the executives buy the concept then we will need a screenwriter firstly to write the story through a six part series, but also help contribute to the narrative and subplot running through the entire social media experience. I saw the trailer for your book and find it very interesting. I have family members afflicted with mental illness and the cause is close to my heart. My family was actually featured in a book about mental illness. Wish I could think of the name of it right now.
I wrote an e-book called Being So Called Bipolar. I'll include it in my portfolio for screenplays although it isn't a screenplay. I can relate tremendously with being bipolar and I like reading things about it. Please share more.
My youngest daughter is bipolar. The second youngest is schizophrenic. Both were born to crack addicted moms. We adopted them when they were 5 and 7.
