Hi if anyone could help me that would be fantastic I'm writing my own short that I'm hoping once it's finished, there will be someone that's willing to fund my project to turn it into a full length feature. Is there any tips that anyone can give me that will help me along the way. Thank you.

Is the intent to get the short produced and use it as a prelude to the feature? If so you need to maximise the chances of production by making it as realistic to shoot as possible. Therefore my advice would be to make sure it's fewer than ten pages, uses as few characters and scenes and possible and make those locations realistic to find. I also advise you make it clear with the director/producer than you retain the rights to the premise and characters. But ultimately you have to shift your mindset away from making something that promotes your short and making something a team of creatives want to proudly hang their hats on, you need to write something that's going to bring out the best in a director, DOP, actress etc....
It's written as a shorts with an open and I can lead to a full-length feature. Well that's my plan anyway. I've got a great concept that should do well. I want to direct and produce it myself. As I have a vision of what I'm trying to achieve.
Sorry that should of read open end!
