Nice to meet ya, David. And Orlando, Windermere to be exact. I suppose screenwriting just feels natural. I have always loved film, and I would criticize certain scenes, even in my younger years. So, I thought, I'll just do it myself! The format and everything is what gets me, but as far as making scenes and creating situations, those things come easy. 8 pots isn't that bad, if you spread it out throughout a full day. Ok, yes it is. Oh well!

DJ - are you up for exchanging screenplay notes? I've written a number of features in various serious genres, but I've only been able to tackle comedy in shorts. I'd love to have someone to bounce comedy feature writing off of, and would gladly reciprocate with reads and notes on your work. Let me know, and feel free to add me if it's of interest.

I have yet to even finish my first feature. This stuff is so time consuming, working on it though. But if you would want me to look at some comedy stuff and give you my opinions on how to make things funnier and whatnot, I'd be happy to!

I'm a screenwriter as well. And if I meet an actor or actress whose work I really like & respect, I keep them in mind when I'm developing characters and oftentimes offer them a project based off of my knowledge of their Talents (singing, martial arts, comedy, drama). That's what I meant by keep me in mind. =)

I am just starting it, spent 2 months doing an outline. I reoutlined my outline 8 times. Might cut down on how many rewrites my script needs? Fingers crossed! And I have quite a few more waiting in the wings, I wanna finish one before starting another. I get confused by writing just one, couldn't imagine juggling. When and where is this meet up? I didn't know this kind of stuff existed 2 days ago!
