I made a website for my latest digital short titled "Drift" and boy did it help. i skipped indiegogo for they were gonna take a nice chunk out of the money raised. The question then becomes one of networking. Direct requests vs the fishing method. Which one works? Well, let's just say that in one day I've received more contacts, money, and crew requests then I ever did with indiegogo. http://bustillosme.wix.com/drifttshort

Hi Mike, I saw your post and was curious. How did you drive traffic to your site?

Thanks for the Reply Mike. I assumed so. Those platforms are dependent on social media / heavy farming of your own contacts. Hence the "Whats the point of using INDY or KICK, to take a cut?" I get it.
