Anything Goes : Being Cautious by Sidney Hoggard III

Being Cautious

My little brother recently joined Stage32 in an attempt to try finding work in both modeling and possibly acting. Shortly after he joined, someone had messaged us asking about him, and, being the responsible adult in charge of my brother's entertainment work, I replied. He asked how old the boy was and if he could have a few pictures to decide for a movie, saying that he had plans to make one soon. We were cooperative towards each other, but there was something about the process that made me a little uncomfortable. After that, we hadn't really heard anything regarding the movie or these pictures, other than a kind note thanking us and informing us that we would know something soon. What is the best way to know if someone is legitimate? I'm still learning about the entertainment industry, even though I have been interested in acting ever since I was my little brother's age.

You were right to be cautious. Next time ask for a website before sending any pictures. If the person won't provide contact info, a website and referrals then move on.
