Yeah, just saw it. Seems like quite the dead article only two replies. Still, I'll keep a look. Also to be honest, I'm not asking this for a meetup just out of curiosity to see if there were people here that go to the fest.
Wouldn't imagine it would be a huge meetup, but perhaps worthwhile to contact the poster.

I got an invite, but cant afford to go. I was part of the 48hr film festival in Cape Town, and all our members got emails with discounted rates, to go. Maybe next year? Im def going to follow the news on Twitter.
