Anything Goes : How to get the most from your Fight Director by Daniel Levinson

Hello Everyone. I have been a director and fight director since 1991. I also do a lot of work with theatre students in four different universities in and around Toronto. I thought this might be a nice topic to bring to this board. Are there any questions you would like to ask about Stage Combat and how you can get the most from it in your productions? To get the conversation started I would like to make a small list of really useful things: Hire and start fight discussions early with your fight director, Hire performers who have the skills you need to do the job well, get the props you will want the actors to fight with on the first day of choreography so you and your actors will know if the weapons work for your needs, and finally don't be afraid to ask questions.
