Hello all, I am looking for any scriptwriters and/or directors who are looking to work on their first projects and need a producer to collaborate with. UK-based (ideally North West but if not, no worries, after all that's what online networking is for!), with a passion for film. I posted this in Producing thread as well, not sure whether or not scriptwriter would look there.

Hey Rebecca, I'm a screenplay writer in the North of England, whose looking to get a couple of shows produced, I have a couple of them in my screenplay section on here, but I am looking to collaborate with producers, directors etc to get them launched. I am also currently working on a movie project with a director and we are about to start crowdfunding. If this is of any interest to you hit me up :)

Hi Rebecca! I am UK based, but live in London. I am also in the process of starting my own project as a producer. I suppose I am too far away to be present in any projects you get started (at least for now) but I feel it would be great to talk so someone who is in the same situation as me. Get ideas, give feedback and such. Id be happy to collaborate with you too if the distance is not an issue.

Hello, Rebecca! I am not in England, but I do live in BRITISH Columbia! ;0) My "Arthur Pen" was recommended for production before, but is once more available. Ideally, it SHOULD be shot in the UK. It follows the adventures of a young adolescent who learns to handle adversity in the present through the stewardship of his mentors in the past. Think "Shrek" meets "The Princess Bride." It would be classified as a fantasy/comedy. The logline is: Bullies chase young Arthur Pen through a time warp where Merlin the Magician tells the sceptical boy he is King Arthur Pendragon of Round Table fame. I have a script, Bank Holiday, written with Bristol based writer who was a development exec in States. It is basically a smarter Hangover 1 set in UK with travel to Eastern Europe.

Should you need a hard-working and enthusiastic new screenwriter anytime soon, however, I hope you'll keep me in mind. Most of my own fiction is in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror realms, but as a freelance writer I've ghostwritten in nearly every genre; thus I'm confident I can write any story you need.
