Animation is hard work

Hi everyone, I am a children's author and I am trying to learn all I can about how to animate my children's book fantasy series which I am writing. I have had the first one published last year and the second one will be published later on this year in America. They did a U Tube for the first book but it was not really what I wanted so I thought I would look at doing one for the second book and may be the third if I can get that published too. But it is so hard to animate and I think I may need a little help with it. I am going to keep trying to do it but, would like any tips you have on how to do it ? That is if you have time. I really would like to do a short show for the BBC and see if they are interested in showing it on TV but may be I am aiming a little high. Anyway it is great to read all your projects here and who knows may be one of you might like to have a look at my project too. Being a children's author is one which, is not very well paid, if you know what I mean. So money is not here to pay for the help, but who knows what will happen in the future if my books take off. Here is the U Tube from my first book.
