I've just this second discovered this site and I'm very excited to be afforded the opportunity to connect with like-minded people! I'm at the beginning of my career - one year out of university - and also just got engaged, so I'm currently drowning in anxiety/excitement for the future; I would absolutely cherish any advice on how to go about making a career in the performing arts whilst also attempting to finance a wedding/house, especially when my fiance is also creative and pursuing a career in cartooning. One of my dilemmas at the moment is finding the answer to this question: is it possible to be a composer/musician, writer and an actor professionally, or is that spreading yourself too thin? I am fiercely passionate about all these areas and, although I'll do them all anyway, I want to know if it's pure delusion to pursue them all professionally. Anyway, thanks for reading and I look forward to 'meeting' new people and the many discussions to come! Cheers, Lore (pronounced "Laura")
