Hello all. My name is Scott Clarke and after a lifetime of working in sales and marketing I am trying something "significantly" different. I have been writing, presenting and producing some politically motivated videos entitled Wound Up that are being promoted by a left-wing internet publication here in Australia. I've now registered with an agency and had my first paid job on the set as an extra in a commercial last week. I'm taking part in a casting workshop on Monday and want to dedicate myself to acting as I feel I would rather work at something I really enjoy as opposed to working in a job I didn't like, regardless of the salary and conditions. Best of luck, Scott. I just directed my first personal narrative film at age 48 after years of producing broadcast & corporate spots. So it's certainly possible. Keep us posted on how things are going for you. Best of luck!
